Buckhead Belle posts monthly goals. They're short and simple and it would be a good thing to have to look back on at the end of the month and see if I accomplished any of them. I have 2 goals this month that have appeared on pretty much every new years resolution since I started college and a few blog past posts as well- so we will see if April is the month I finally check them off!
1. Cook more- I buy my lunch and sometimes both lunch and dinner most days. That is the farthest thing from economical. I love to cook truly. But cooking for one is hard. I find that I usually have to buy more than I need and then it goes to waste. Or I have to eat the same thing every day for lunch and dinner (which my roommate does but I could NEVER do!) My goal is to find some simple, easy recipes that have ingredients that overlap and can easily be made for just one meal or they make good left overs that can be transformed into a different dish the next day.
2. Exercise (finally)- So remember how sweet Peter got me a gift card to a ballet studio for Christmas? Well, the place is closed now so I still haven't started dancing like I had planned. I hate gyms, I loathe running, I even despise talking about exercise because it's just so boring, blah, blah, blah. I like exercise to not seem like actual "work." I will never be motivated to come home from a long day of work and then go work out if I don't love the activity. Yoga and/or BALLET. It's happening! Period
