Welcome to my little corner of the internet! I'm Shannon and I started this blog way back when I was a senior in college. I wanted to capture those fleeting moments of no responsibility before leaving the college bubble and entering the "real world." I studied communications and graphic design and this is where I put that liberal arts degree to work. Since then, this blog of mine has served as a scrapbook, memory keeper, and a very public diary. It's followed me from South Carolina, to D.C., though job changes, cross country moves, heartbreak, and a lot of bridesmaid dresses. And now ten years later I find myself a wife and a mom to two boys living in South Korea- for now.
My husband and I tied the knot in January 2015. He's a doctor in the Army so we're learning a lot about blooming where you're planted and trusting that wherever the Army sends us God goes before us. I'm a stay at home mom and we've been lucky to call South Korea home for two years. It's been a fun adventure exploring this side of the world with our two boys, Tommy (3.5) and Will (1.5).
I'm a Jesus follower and forever learning what that means. I love to sing at the top of my lungs, I play guitar and attempt the mandolin. I love to ride shotgun with my feet on the dash. I believe the book is always always better than the movie. The beach is my happy place.  I have a minor addiction to diet coke, but it's under control, I swear. I can't answer the question, "where are you from" because I've lived and loved in a lot of places and have a very fluid understanding of the word. I love that I now get to adventure around the world with my husband and our sons. I blog about motherhood, faith and our adventures, I'm just writing our story.
