Aren't these cute? My boyfriend got them for me! It was pouring down rain, literally monsooning, the other day and it would have been awesome to have these. They are totally waterproof, warm and such pretty colors!

It's been a pretty stressful week already and it's only Tuesday- not a good sign! So getting this package in the mail cheered me up- it's the little things right? I mean who doesn't like new shoes?
So this week I am going to focus on just breathing, trusting. Trust that things are going to work out the way they are suppose to, the way God intended them to. I know that I have no reason to be worried about the future, or even tomorrow. And as long as I can remember that I am at peace.

"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all of your heart." Jeremiah 29:11-13.

This is one of my favorite verses and it's something good to remember whenever I worry about classes or graduating in 102 days, or whatever is going to happen the day after that.

To all the seniors and whoever else is worried or anxious about the future I hope this verse helps you too!

  1. Sounds like a very good 'plan' to me.

Oh, and enough with the countdown -my heart can't take it : )

  2. What a sweet boyfriend! Also, I love that verse too!

  3. Your Mom and I are blog friends. I noticed after reading your blog that my daughter (Sweet, Sassy, Southern & Classy) is one of your followers. Small world, isn't it? Your Mom and I want to meet each other in person this year. Your Mom and I have another blog friend that I have met in person, who wants to meet your Mom too. We are hoping that the 3 of us can get together. Possibly New York? I know you are so excited to be graduating this year!!! Love & blessings from NC!
