Fireworks and Wedding Planning

I went up to Jersey this past weekend and spent the holiday with my folks. We saw hands down the best fireworks around. And we had the perfect view- they were literally right above our heads. Pieces of "shrapnel" we're falling around us, that's how close we were. It was pretty chilly on the 4th but it kept the mosquitoes away as we sat out in the grass and enjoyed the show.

The rest of the weekend was all about the wedding. Mom and I addressed Save the Dates (can't wait to share them with you on here), we chatted about guest lists, videographers, signature drinks, welcome bags. We crammed in as much wedding stuff as we could into the weekend, my poor dad. He got more excited when we started looking at bands though. We took breaks from the wedding planning to dine al fresco for basically every meal. But what I really wish is that I could take a break from my job to plan my wedding. Just kidding... except not at all.
