Goodbye November

1. Do you send out Christmas cards?
My parents send one every year, usually along with a Christmas letter detailing the past year's exploits. I love getting Christmas cards and will definitely send one out when I have my own family. Doesn't this below picture look like a Christmas card though?

2. When do kids become adults?
Hmm... most days I don't feel like an adult. But I really don't feel like a kid either. I'm not sure. I'll let you know when I figure it out.

3.Does your beauty regimen change with the season?
Not really. I wouldn't even say I have a set "regimen" in the first place. I do use more lotion in the winter and I wash my hair less.

4. What is something you like to eat that might cause other people to turn up their noses.
I LOVE crabs covered in Ole' Bay (probably my favorite food). Mussels and clams and oysters and escargot- love it all! I find that not everyone enjoys seafood like I do which I just can't understand!

5. Gloves or mittens?
I love mittens because they are cozy and keep my little hands warmer. But if I'm out with Peter he doesn't really like holding my "mitt" so I wear gloves because I like holding his hand. Anyways, he keeps my hands just as warm as any mittens could.

6. What is the longest queue you've ever been in? Was it worth the wait?
I feel like I've spent a lot of time queue-ing so it's hard for me to remember a single line that stands out as the longest. England has mastered the art of the queue. I waited in super long lines for the London Eye and Madam Tussauds- both very touristy but still worth the wait. I have always waited in too many security/immigration/and customs lines at airports. Always worth the trip!

7. Besides Christmas, what is one thing you are looking forward to this December?
On Saturday Peter and I are going to see A Christmas Carol at Ford's Theater. I lucked into two free tickets from a hotel that I work with in my job. I've never been to Ford's Theater but Peter used to go to this performance when he was a kid. I just love this play! I think it will really get me into the Christmas spirit to get all dressed up for the show and go then out for dinner afterwards and just enjoy being together this time of year!

8. My random thought:
I never shared any pictures from my time at Young Life camp a few weekends back so here's one now: I got to go zip lining with these awesome girlies! Love em!

  6. All those queues to wonderful places...I might need to go have a little cry now : ) I still have 'days' if you know what I mean. And I know you do.

    Have fun at the theatre!
