I actually thought that having the girls wearing the guy's tux jackets for some of the shots (candid and posed) was really cute. In hindsight I was glad to see the authenticity of the day: I had to wear a knee-length winter white coat. The bride provided matching scarves for the moms which was a brilliant touch. We took off the winter gear for most of the shoot, of course, but an hour and a half of standing around ? No way. For my own wedding (3 days after Christmas) it did not snow until we were in the parking lot, just the two of us, getting ready to leave. So romantic and made for uber wonderful shots, yet didn't pose any hazards to guests getting there or leaving. I pray the same for your wedding--enough light snow to be romantic but not dangerous or plan-changing. The "First Look" pictures I was against until my SIL (a wedding photographer's husband) explained that the groom gets a close-up look at his bride and can "drink in all her beauty" and get his tears and smiles captured in the intimate group of parents and close friends before the "whole world" crowds in. It was a BEAUTIFUL THING! Twice! (Two sons now married.) Maybe that will give you some peace. Weather is ALWAYS a factor. My daughter is marrying here in SC in April (outdoors hopefully) and I worry that we will have wind and rain. Again, it's up to God! Putting it in His hands can reduce some stress. I know you're on the fence about wraps but I'm not I plan to rock a fur something or other. Plus you are always about to combust so will likely be warm regardless : ). A fun problem to have.
3. We can't control the weather.
4. I'm with you on this one a smidge. We will put Daddy on it. He needs to go up the chain of licensing command and you know he loves that sort of thing. Plus we need it in writing in case anyone gives you sass on the day.
5. Every little thing is gonna be okay xoJoycehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16727615822243830106noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2715892373817702232.post-67849335064803491792014-08-25T15:30:00.431-04:002014-08-25T15:30:00.431-04:00I like what the second person told you.
